The City2City app just rolled out a major update that makes long-distance rideshare smoother, smarter, and more flexible than ever. Whether you’re heading from Las Vegas to Salt Lake or need a pickup closer to home, these changes make it easier for riders and more rewarding for drivers.
1. Door-to-Door Service is Now Live
Forget the stress of meeting points. Riders can now enter their exact pickup and drop-off addresses directly in the app. If the route fits with a driver’s planned trip, the app will generate a custom price for the ride. This makes City2City one of the first casual rideshare services in Utah to offer flexible door-to-door travel.
Example:
A driver posts a ride from St. George to Lehi. A rider nearby wants to go from their home in St. George to an office in Provo. With the new update, the app can match them, price it accordingly, and complete the trip — all door to door.

2. More Flexibility in Routes
Now riders aren’t limited to a single start and end location. As long as the route overlaps, they can book rides for a portion of the trip. This makes it easy to catch a ride even if you’re not going the full distance.
Example:
A Las Vegas to Salt Lake driver can now pick up a passenger in Cedar City and drop them off in Lehi. The system handles the match and pricing automatically.
3. Driver Payouts Just Went Up
This update significantly increases earnings for drivers. More payout, same pricing for riders. It’s a change designed to attract reliable, high-quality drivers — and reward them for keeping City2City moving.
4. A Cleaner, Smoother User Experience
We’ve fixed issues with button sensitivity and screen responsiveness. Booking a ride or posting a trip is now faster, simpler, and more intuitive.
